TRAVELERS AID OF PITTSBURGH
The Travelers Aid office is open from 9:00 to 4:00, Monday through Friday (Please note distribution hours vary - please check the Distribution Hours Page to determine the hours for all programs - not all programs distribute up until 4:00).
Clinic distribution will take place between 9 o'clock and 3 o'clock only.
TRAVELERS AID OF PITTSBURGH is a non-profit, United Way agency which provides social service programs to individuals in need of transit assistance. The only organization of its kind in Western Pennsylvania, Travelers Aid works with public and private entities to offer a plethora of transportation options for various populations.
Through contracts with the Department of Human Services in Allegheny County and the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, as well as partnerships with a number of other departments, foundations and community providers, Travelers Aid assists with travel for 5,000 clients and nearly 3 million trips per year. This model is currently being employed in over 125 locations in Allegheny County with a total enrollment of over 40,000 low-income individuals and families.
