Travelers Aid of Pittsburgh has an immediate position opening in the role of Transportation Specialist.
Travelers Aid is a non-profit 501(c)3 agency that assists individuals with public transportation to attend a variety of services and programs.
Full Time Position - this is an in-office position (remote opportunities are not available)
Daylight Schedule – attractive flex scheduling (7-hour day option)

This is an in-office position working out of the Travelers Aid main office in Downtown Pittsburgh.
The position will involve issuing transportation instruments to participants, tracking eligibility and inventory, entering data into software systems, working directly with consumers to facilitate transportation needs, among other duties. Major requirements of this position include: excellent customer service and computer skills, basic math skills, basic knowledge of the Pittsburgh Regional Transit bus system in Allegheny County, PA, and organization and attention to detail. Experience in working with social services is a plus. The candidate should have familiarity with Microsoft Office software and have the ability to learn new software systems. Travelers Aid is a growing Pittsburgh agency and has developed partnerships with the Department of Human Services in Allegheny County and the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Medical Assistance Transportation, the Office of Children, Youth and Families, the Office of Behavioral Health, Labor and Industry, the Department of Corrections, as well as a plethora of foundations, human service and medical providers.
The position is also contingent upon the review of a criminal background check and drug screening.
